If you're going through a divorce, you need to work with someone who not only has the skills, expertise and experience to understand the nuances of divorce finances, but more importantly, someone who understands what you're facing because she too, has been through it.

Who am I?

I am a woman who was faced with navigating a divorce following 24 years of marriage. When I was going through my divorce, I attended support groups and discovered that many of the women I met there simply didn't understand what they needed to do financially for their divorce.

I founded Divorce Financial Consultant to fill the gap between starting the process and hiring an attorney or mediator.  I earned my Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) designation from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™ (IDFA™), by completing an intensive training program and passing the four qualifying exams covering divorce law, finance and accounting.

Prior to becoming a CDFA®, I worked as a Daily Money Manager managing budgets and finances for individuals and small businesses. I have over 20 years experience working with accountants, attorneys and financial professionals as a liaison on behalf of my clients.

I have held positions as Comptroller and Account Manager at several major NYC advertising agencies where I managed budgets from $500K to $30MM.  I have a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Boston University's Questrom School of Business.

I am a member of the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts™ (IDFA™) and abide by their Practice Standards and the Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility.  I am a member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM). In my free time I enjoy exercising, biking, hiking, attending the theater and spending time with my two millennial sons. I am a native New Yorker and have lived in Westchester county for the past 25 years.
